Hey folks!
Sly the fox here again, on another one of my awesome adventures around Charleston, SC!
Last week, a few of my buddies from the Francis Marion and I went on a little field trip down to the Thomas Bennett House. I was pretty excited to get out for a little while and enjoy some of the beautiful weather we have been having. It’s beginning to look a lot like Fall in Charleston! With so many people and groups coming to visit us, I’ve been scurrying Charleston looking for some extraordinary places for us to house your events!
The Governor Thomas Bennett House, is known as one of the most magnificent in all of Charleston, and definitely exceeded the expectations of a little fox like me. The tremendous house had a huge lawn and trail out front for me to run around on, and would be the perfect place for a beautiful wedding or event of any type. The house has been restored pretty nicely, since being founded in 1825, with very elegant architecture that shows its history. The long porch and grand, free-flying staircase, one of two in the whole city, were some of my favorite places there, and could be perfect backdrop to your next gathering! The garden is one of the most beautiful, traditional gardens in Charleston, with a brick courtyard and fountain, and the perfect place for a photo-op before heading back to the hotel.
If you want to see more photos from the property, scurry on over to http://www.governorthomasbennetthouse.com/ and tell my pal, Linda, that Sly sent you!
See you next time!
