The Cocktail Club was amazing last night! Some old friends and I met to swap a few fox tails over delicious hand crafted cocktails…“some things are better done in private.”
To find this hidden gem of sophistication and libations you’ll have to walk just a few steps up the stairs above the Macintosh located on Upper King Street.
Become a member or just stop in for a house made infusion, rare spirit, or a farm-to-shaker beverage Monday through Sunday, 5pm to 2am. They also offer cocktail classes for the distinguished drinker seeking an education!
We enjoyed a beautiful sunset out on the rooftop terrace where they grow the fresh herbs that went into my “Double Standard” with house-infused Serrano gin and cucumber vodka blended with cucumber water, ginger syrup finished with celery bitters and garnished with fresh cilantro and a touch of Serrano pepper. Wow, what a drink! I could even see my home up there along with the rest of Charleston.
The next time you are in town don’t forget to stop by, the Cocktail Club!
